HI! I'M MARIAM,
I've been passionate about learning languages since I was a kid because I truly believe they open up a whole new world for us. They help us explore, connect, and discover more about ourselves and each other.
After getting my degree from the university and qualifying as a teacher, I started teaching both English and Armenian a few years ago.
Lately, I've realized how much I want to share the beauty of the Armenian language with even more people. I love introducing my students not just to the language, but also to the rich culture and wonderful connections that come with.
In my classes, you'll find a mix of fun and knowledge, along with a heartfelt understanding of our culture, country and people.

You’ll learn each letter of the beautiful Armenian script step by step, so you can start reading signs, messages, and basic texts with ease—and even write your own simple sentences!

From greetings and introductions to asking simple questions, you’ll be able to hold basic conversations and feel more comfortable using Armenian in real-life situations.

Course Content
The course has 10 modules for 7+ hours of learning and practicing. It also includes 70+ interactive video lessons! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. The course is suitable for everyone, teens, adults and even children. It would be best to take the course in order, because it will start from the basics to lessons at a more advanced level.

IN MY COURSE YOU WILL LEARN:
Module 1: Alphabet & Pronunciation
In this module, learners will be introduced to the Armenian alphabet—its history, printed and cursive letter forms, vowels and consonants. The focus will also be on pronunciation tips, common writing confusions, and basic reading practice to build a strong literacy foundation.
Module 2: Greetings & Introductions
Students will learn how to greet people, introduce themselves, and use personal pronouns. The module covers the present tense of the verb “to be,” essential daily verbs, and polite everyday phrases. It wraps up with practical dialogues in social settings.
Module 3: Everyday Essentials
This module introduces numbers (0–100), days of the week, dates, and time. Learners will also explore vocabulary for daily routines, hobbies, frequency words, and weather, along with basic dialogues and descriptive language like colors and shapes.
Module 4: Food & Restaurants
Students will acquire vocabulary related to food and drinks, learn how to describe taste and dishes, and use demonstrative pronouns. Practical grammar includes plural noun formation and expressions like “there is/are.” The module ends with a restaurant dialogue using the imperative mood.
Module 5: Family & Possession
This unit introduces family member vocabulary and explores how to show possession using articles, possessive pronouns, and the verb “to have.” Students will also learn to describe people’s appearance, personality, and emotions through real-life dialogues.
Module 6: At Home & in the City
Learners will expand their vocabulary related to the house and city (buildings, rooms, furniture). Grammar topics include prepositions of place and question words. Practical lessons include asking for directions and participating in simple dialogues for real-life navigation.
Module 7: Shopping & Prices
Students will get equipped for real-life shopping situations with vocabulary on clothing and gifts, big numbers (100–1000+), measurements, and quantities. Grammar focus is on the locative case (-ում ending). They will practice common shopping phrases through dialogues.
Module 8: Travel & Transportation
Students will learn country names, nationalities, transportation vocabulary, airport and hotel interactions, and useful travel expressions. The module includes command forms ("Wait here," "Show me your ticket") and cultural etiquette phrases for travelers.
Module 9: Talking About the Past
This grammar-focused module teaches past forms of the verb “to be,” past continuous, and simple past tense, including irregular forms. Learners will practice time expressions, compare past vs. present, and use past tenses in context-based dialogues.
Module 10: Talking About the Future & Review
The final module introduces future tense conjugation, time markers, and how to talk about plans, promises, and predictions. It ends with a grammar review and a practical dialogue where learners apply present, past, and future tenses in conversation.
